Kimbap

Having the house to myself for the past couple of days meant that I got to make whatever I wanted for dinner. I decided to be adventurous the other day and try making Kimbap. Kimbap is basically the Korean version of sushi. I'd never had it before, but I've seen it made a few times (thanks We Got Married and Family Outing!) and I thought I'd be able to do. The night before I glanced at a few recipes to make sure I had the correct ingredients and to re-confirm the process of how to make it. Then the fun part began!

Obviously I began with cooking the rice, but the next thing I did was I sauteed the cucumber and carrots. You need to cut them into thin, long strips so they fit easily inside the kimbap. I thought sauteing them before adding them really gave them a great flavor.

Next up was the egg. As you can see, I kind of failed at cooking the egg into a flat disc. Having the egg in a flat disc makes it a lot easier to cut the egg into strips. I used two eggs as I planned on making two or three rolls.

Even though my egg did not come out the best, I still got a couple of decent strips from it. The strips of all the ingredients should be about the same size so they are represented evenly in your roll. The ingredients of kimbap are pretty flexible and can contain basically anything you have available to you (which is something that I love about it, one of my greatest joys in life is re-using leftovers the next day or finding something forgotten about in the cupboard and creating something delicious with it). However, cucumber, carrots, and eggs are pretty standard for kimbap so I wanted to be sure to include those in mine.

The other two ingredients I chose for my kimbap was spinach and canned tuna. I decided to include spinach because I love being able to sneak healthy food into things that I am cooking. It worked out really well because you couldn't really taste the spinach at all. So you got all the healthy benefits from it minus the spinachy taste! I choose tuna as my meat because that was what I had on hand. Spam, beef, and imitation crab are all popular kimbap meat ingredients.

Now it was time for the scary part, assembling the kimbap. First I spread the rice on the seaweed wrap. Normally rice in kimbap is seasoned with sesame oil as well as sesame seeds but since I had neither I left that out.

Then I (generously) laid out the ingredients I prepared. I put a bit much in this roll pictured, it was kind of hard to roll up. For my next roll I did not add as much to it. And since I don't have a bamboo mat to roll my kimbap I used tin foil. It got the job done, but a bamboo mat would have been much nicer.

So that's what my first roll of kimbap looked like! I sealed the seaweed wrap with a bit of water. And once I got the hang of cutting the roll, this is what my finished product looked like...

Not too bad, huh? They tasted pretty good, I would definitely make kimbap again. Even my brother tried it and agreed that it was "good, especially since it's homemade". However, he wasn't a huge fan of the tuna as he enjoys imitation crab meat best when he eats anything resembling sushi.

I can't wait until I can try the real thing when I'm Seoul next week to see how it should really taste! I've read that you can buy a roll of kimbap from street vendors in Seoul for 1000 Won (which is about $1 US Dollar). So cheap! I know the travel doctor told me no street vendor food, but that is the one rule I plan on completely ignoring. Street vendor food in Seoul is supposed to be amazing (and cheap!), and I really want to experience as much food as I can when I am over there.

So what do you think of kimbap? I recommend it and I would love it if some of you would try it. Let me know if you do ^_~

Dream High

One of my favorite K-Dramas that I've seen has been Dream High. The easiest way to explain it would be to call it the Korean version of Glee. Dream High is about six students who are attending a performing arts high school, their struggles to become entertainers, and of course, their ~relationships~.  Let's meet the characters!

Go Hyemi

When we first meet Hyemi she is extremely bratty and very rude. She only cares about herself and her younger sister. This is somewhat understandable though, as she is being chased by her fathers debt collectors. As the drama progresses Hyemi becomes a more kind and understanding person. She is also faced with the tough decision of choosing between two men, Sam Dong and Jin Guk! I must admit, Hyemi's performance of  "Winter Child" is one that I often theatrically sing along with in the car. Go Hyemi is played by Suzy who is from the girl group Miss A.

Song Sam Dong

Song Sam Dong is a country bumpkin who really loves his mother. He has no intention of leaving his country life, but when Hyemi is sent to bring him to Seoul it's love at first sight for Sam Dong and he agrees to go with her. Even though he has never had any formal musical training, Sam Dong is extremely talented. He is a bit naive and will do anything for Hyemi. Sam Dong's big performance during the course of the show was "Dreaming". Song Sam Dong is played by Kim Soo Hyun who is technically the only real "actor" of the main cast, the rest of the actors are also idol stars.

Jin Guk

Jin Guk is a tough guy who seems to have been brought up on the streets, yet he has a soft and sweet side. He sincerely cares for Hyemi despite her faults. Jin Guk has some complicated issues to work through during the drama, including getting acknowledgment from his father. Jin Guk is played by Taecyeon of 2PM.

  Yoon Baek Hee

At the beginning of the drama, Yoon Baek Hee is best friends with Go Hyemi and worships her. After Hyemi throws Baek Hee under the bus at their audition to the performing arts school, Baek Hee becomes Hyemi's biggest rival at the school. Baek Hee is also jealous of Hyemi because Baek Hee starts to like Jin Guk. Baek Hee is faced with some very scary situations that end up changing her dramatically. Yoon Baek Hee is played by Ham Eun Jung who is in the girl group T-ara. Eun Jung is also currently appearing on We Got Married!

Kim Pil Suk

Pil Suk is someone who is impossible not to fall in love with! Pil Suk is very self conscious because of her weight. Despite her shy nature, she quickly befriends Hyemi and relies on her to get her through some tough times. Very early on, Kim Pil Suk develops strong feelings for Jason. Pil Suk is played by the gorgeous and talented IU.

Jason

Jason is an American who came to Korea for more opportunities. He is a gentleman and is very nice to everyone he meets. After Pil Suk puts him in his place Jason decides that he must work hard in order to win back her affection. The Jason/Pil Suk couple got the nickname of "The Milky Couple". Jason is played by Wooyoung of 2PM.

That's the "theme" song to Dream High and a super cute performance if you ask me! If you didn't know about Dream High before I hope you are inspired to watch it now. It's an especially good K-Drama to watch as your first one if you are thinking about watching a Korean show because the characters are all pretty likable, and the musical performances are all really good. Now is also a great time to watch this drama because they already announced that  Dream High 2 will debut next year! Let's all get excited for it ^_~

Taeyang

It's been awhile since I devoted a post to any of the Big Bang members, so I thought it was time for my Taeyang post!

Taeyang ^_^

For starters, Taeyang is actually a stage name. Taeyang translates to "solar", his real name is Dong Youngbae. He is 23 years old, and he started training in order to become a member of Big Bang when he was only 12 years old. Talk about dedication! He originally was going to be a rapper, but now he is Big Bang's main vocalist.

After a few years of promoting with Big Bang, Taeyang released his first solo material in 2008. His first big hit was "Only Look At Me". Even though I love the song, I've always found it a bit interesting as he is singing about how he might "look" at other girls but his girlfriend is not allowed to "look" at other guys. After the success of "Only Look At Me", Taeyang released his first full solo album almost exactly one year ago (July 1, 2010). The album, Solar, did extremely well on the US itunes charts, getting all the way to the number two spot on the R&B charts (with no US promotion!). Every song on Solar is really good, but I must admit the thing I love most about it is three of the songs are English versions! Granted, Taeyang uses a good deal of English normally, but to have three songs completely in English make me so happy.

Without a doubt, my favorite English song of Taeyang's is "Wedding Dress". The music video is so sad, but Taeyang is so great in it! Another English song I would recommend of his is "I'll Be There". And although it's not in English, I love "I Need A Girl". I suppose it doesn't hurt that it's featuring G-Dragon!

I hope you feel like you know Taeyang a bit better now. I also hope you've discovered some new music if you didn't know about Taeyang before ^_~

Running Man Pt. 2

Now that the craziness of the party is over, I can get back to this blog ^_^ I must say, I've been pretty shocked at the view counts on certain blog posts of mine. I never thought that any post would get more views than my Big Bang post, but I've been proven wrong! In honor of my Running Man post recently becoming my most viewed blog post I decided to do another post about Running Man! I thought I would share with you my top three guests, games, and episodes! Let's begin!

My Top Three Favorite Guests

Park Ye Jin

3. Park Ye Jin made a great guest because of her history with Jae Suk and Jong Kook. Since they appeared on Family Outing together Ye Jin knew how to push the buttons of both Jae Suk and Jong Kook, and had no shame in doing it! Ye Jin was very smart in her mission on the show and provided a lot of laughs for the viewers also!

Seungri

2. If you've read my blog, you already know my love for Big Bang so it's only natural that Seungri would be one of my favorite guests! Seungri was doing very well in the "find the guest" game until he got a little too cocky about his success. When that happened he used every trick in the book to escape being captured! He also put a great effort into the "one chance" game at the end of the show. It's great getting to see any of the Big Bang members in variety shows and Seungri was no exception!

Yong Hwa

1. Without a doubt my favorite Running Man guest has been Yong Hwa! He has already appeared on the show four times and each time he has shown why he is an "elite" Running Man player. Yong Hwa always seems to manage pull off the unimaginable to save his team from certain punishment. He also was able to trick the entire Running Man cast in one of the 1 vs. 8 games! Yong Hwa has shown his quick thinking and humor on Running Man and I can't wait for him to come on the show again!
My Top Three Favorite Games

Lord Of Camping

3. There is no way I could not include the game that reunited the Dumb and Dumber Brothers! The two teams had to make dishes that you would normally make when you go camping and the winners would be decided based on what tasted best. Jae Suk and Daesung reminded us of the Family Outing days when they were sent to the grocery store to buy ingredients. And when the teams were cooking their dishes hilarity ensued as the teams tried to steal ingredients from each other. Classic Running Man fun!

The Usual Suspects

2. When Jae Suk got chosen to eliminate all the other Running Man members secretly, we were introduced to Yoomes Bond. Jae Suk had to get water on the name tags of the other members in order to eliminate them. With Jae Suk being as nervous as he is it was hilarious to see him faced with the challenge of taking out Kim Jong Kook and a possible confrontation with Ha Ha. It was also really funny to see how creative he was in getting water on the name tags.
Diet Karaoke

1. I know this may seem like an odd choice, but I just remember laughing until I cried during this game. In Diet Karaoke, each team (as shown in the above picture) had to pick a song to sing into the karaoke machine. However, the microphones were attached to various gym equipment such as dumbbells, the pull up bar and those stretchy bands you can use to work out your arms. This put the members into some compromising positions as well as tested their physical strength. You should definitely watch Running Man if only to see this game!

My Top Three Favorite Episodes
Episode 22

3. I don't think any list would be complete without including a bit of Christmas cheer if at all possible! Episode 22 was the Christmas special of Running Man. Every game revolved around Christmas, whether it was buying presents, decorating a tree, or wearing proper Christmas attire! The games were hilarious, there was some special moments for the Monday couple, and the guests weren't too bad either ^_~ And let's not forget that episode 22 gave us this gem...

Merry Christmas ^_^

Episode 18

2. Another one of my favorite things is Titanic and episode 18 gave the viewers multiple interpretations of the famous Titanic pose when the show took place on a cruise ship. One of the challenges involved trying to impress the girls so we got to see the charming sides to most of the male Running Man members. Of course we got to see some sweet Monday couple moments, but I think my favorite part was our introduction to Yoo Hyuk...

Jae Suk always gets a laugh out of me, but this was one of those times where I thought about this the next day and burst out laughing!

Episode 40

1. My favorite all time episode of Running Man is the one I most recently watched, episode 40! Everything about this episode was perfect. We got to see the beastly sides of the guests, Taecyeon and Nichkhun, as well as their musically talented sides. The first half of the episode had Nichkhun and Taecyeon chasing down and capturing the Running Man members in a bells hide and seek game. The second half of the episode had two teams competing against each other to see who could have the best musical performance using some out of the ordinary instruments. Taecyeon showed a bit of humor and leadership on his team, and we got to see Nichkhun's sweet side when he played the keyboard on his team. Here is the preview for the episode to give you a taste of it...

Unfortunately this doesn't show you anything of the musical performances, but take my word for it that every single second of this episode was hilarious!
Well, I sincerely hope that you now understand Running Man a bit better. And if you weren't before, I'd really love it if you were inspired to watch Running Man now. It truly is a great show and I eagerly await the release of every episode!

Kiss Kiss

With the next two days proving to be quite busy due to my sisters graduation party, I wanted to share a quick blog entry with you! I read a short article earlier about how people in Korea have really been enjoying the "light bulb" kiss from City Hunter. Since the kiss happened in one of the episodes that aired this week I haven't been able to see it yet, but it got me thinking about how kisses that happen in K-dramas can become so popular. I love how the kisses get named, as well as how often they are imitated. I haven't seen too many famous kisses, but let me share the famous kisses that I have seen with you!

Playground Kiss

The "playground" kiss from Boys Over Flowers is one of my favorites! It was the first real kiss between Jan Di and Jun Pyo. It also happened after Jun Pyo spent a day living as a commoner with Jan Di and her family. Jun Pyo realized what it was like to have a loving family for the first time, and he was very grateful to Jan Di.

Rain Kiss

I'm not sure if this kiss from Playful Kiss ever got a name, but I really loved it so I decided to include it on my list ^_^. In this scene, Oh Ha Ni had just come back from a date because she had given up on Baek Seung Jo (played my Kim Hyung Joong) ever liking her. However, Baek Seung Jo finally reveals his true feelings to Oh Ha Ni with this kiss!

Candy Kiss

Sorry, that was the best video I could find. The real "Candy" kiss scene starts about 1:20 into the video. Anyways, this is from the drama Iris. In this scene Kim Tae Hee's character is upset that it is White Day and Lee Byun Hun's character did not get her any candy. When he shows up after promising to get her some she is upset because he isn't carrying anything. However, she gets her candy along with the kiss!

Foam Kiss

Since I already included the "Foam" kiss in my Secret Garden post, I thought I would include a different version of the kiss in this post! Remember how I said these famous kisses often get parodied? Well here is a prime example! For their comeback, Big Bang did a parody of Secret Garden called Secret Big Bang. In this parody T.O.P. becomes Kim Joo T.O.P. and G-Dragon become G-Ra Im.

Light Bulb Kiss

So there you have it! These are just a few of the famous kisses from Korean dramas. Hopefully the "light bulb" kiss will not disappoint any of us! What do you think of these kisses? Do you have a favorite? Do you wish that kisses from American dramas would become famous like this? I suppose we did have the "spiderman" kiss. Oh well, until next time I hope you enjoy these kisses ^_~

Put Your Hands Up!

In honor of 2PM releasing their music video for "Put Your Hands Up" today, I thought I should blog about them!

2PM

2PM is made up of six members (more on them later) and they released their first single in 2008, 10 Points Out Of 10. Their next big hit (and personal favorite of mine) was Heartbeat. Following Heartbeat was Again And Again. Another big hit for 2PM was I'll Be Back. Throughout these promotions, 2PM earned the nickname of "Beastly Idols" or "Beast-dols" because of their beastly images when they performed. They also had a bit of controversy when the leader of the group, Park Jaebeom left the group.

Now let me introduce you to the beastly members of 2PM!

Junsu

Junsu is one of the vocalists for 2PM. Recently he has been getting involved with songwriting, and even wrote one of the songs for the Dream High OST! He is also the oldest member of 2PM. Apparently he is close friends with G-Dragon and Taeyang!
Junho

Junho is also one of the vocalists for 2PM. He was able to enter JYPE (the entertainment agency in charge of 2PM) after winning the show Superstar Survival. He seems to always be smiling and happy!
Chansung

Chansung is one of the rappers for 2PM. Before joining 2PM he acted in the drama Unstoppable High Kick. He is known to love working out.

Nichkhun

If you read my blog you already know of my love for Nichkhun! He also raps for 2PM. Instead of auditioning for 2PM, Nichkhun was scouted for the group. He was born in California and spent his childhood there and in Thailand. He went to boarding school in New Zealand. And then he came back to the USA for high school (why not to Michigan?! T.T). He is fluent in English, Thai, Korean, and he is learning to speak Japanese! He is also currently appearing on We Got Married.
Wooyoung

Wooyoung is one of the vocalists for 2PM. He is also known to be a talented dancer. Wooyoung was one of the main characters in one of my favorite K-dramas, Dream High. He was so cute on the show and acted well considering it was his first role!

Taecyeon

Taecyeon is one of the rappers for 2PM. He also was one of the male leads in Dream High with Wooyoung. During his childhood, Taecyeon moved to Massachusetts with his family which is where he grew up. Many people in Korea look up to him because Taecyeon has chosen to give up his American citizenship in order to serve his time in the Korean military.

As I said earlier, 2PM just released their first music video from their new album, Hands Up earlier today! Here it is. I think this could very likely become one of my main jams for the summer. Especially since I think 2PM should be very busy promoting this single while I am in Korea!

I would like to leave you with a couple of super cute interview answers that Taceyeon and Nichkhun recently gave (read the full translated article here). If all of this doesn't make you love 2PM, this certainly will!

First, Taecyeon--

Q. What is your final dream?
A. Raising a happy family.
Q. Most of the 2PM members mentioned happy families; you’re going to become great dads.
A. Oh really? Well, that’s very likely, because our members are all very fine men. Aren’t we?

And finally, Nichkhun--

Q. What is your final dream?
A. I want to become a good dad. For the oncoming 10 years I want to earn money earnestly, and then open a café or a restaurant in Korea, or Thailand or the US. And since I will have a lot of free time, I will be able to spend it with my child. Because children are having it really hard if their parents are very busy. Children who grew up with busy parents had it tough with this and that. I don’t think it is right. I know it because I went through this myself. That’s why I’m trying hard to earn enough money right now. Really.

You're Beautiful

I mentioned in my CN Blue post that I was watching the drama You're Beautiful. Well, I just finished the series yesterday and I loved it! The story kept me interested throughout the length of the show, and I was really invested in all the characters. It was super funny, yet still sad and emotional at other points. Both important parts to any great Korean drama! You're Beautiful didn't have great ratings when it first aired in Korea, but thanks to the internet is gained a cult following!

A.N.Jell

You're Beautiful tells the story of the band A.N.Jell. A.N.Jell originally consisted of three members; Jeremy, Shinwoo, and Taekyung. They then decide to add a forth member, Minam. However, Go Minam is unable to join A.N.Jell due to a botched surgery. In order not to lose his spot in the band, Go Minam's twin sister, Go Minyeo pretends to be her brother and fills in for him. The drama is filled with sweet romance, crazy twists, and a happy ending. I'll introduce the main characters to you!

 Jeremy

Jeremy is the sweet, fun, cute member of A.N.Jell. He plays the drums as well as sings. He really cares for Minyeo and is always there to make her smile. He also opens up to her unlike he has ever done before. Jeremy is played by Lee Hongki. Hongki is a member of the group F.T. Island. He has also appeared in many variety shows like Good Daddy, Family Outing, and Running Man.

Shinwoo <3

Shinwoo finds out that Go Minam is really a girl almost immediately. Instead of revealing this, he keeps it to himself and secretly helps Minyeo to stay undercover. While this is going on he develops feelings for Minam. Shinwoo plans very cute events to reveal his feelings to Minyeo, but they never quite pan out like he intends them to. Shinwoo is played by Jung Yong Hwa of CN Blue. This was his first big role, and starting at the end of the month he will play the male lead in the new drama, Heartstrings opposite his You're Beautiful costar Park Shin Hye!

Taekyung

Hwang Taekyung is the bad boy of A.N.Jell. He is the lead singer of the group and is fairly egocentric. He seems to always be brooding about something. Granted, he has had his fair share of drama in the past. When he discovers the truth about Minams identity he reluctantly covers for her. But, surprise, surprise, he begins to develop feelings for her also! Taekyung is played by Jang Geun Suk. He is an actor who was most recently in the drama Mary Stayed Out All Night. Hopefully he will act in another series again soon so we can see more of him!

  Minam/Minyeo

Go Minyeo is planning on becoming a nun at the beginning of the series before she gets roped into joining A.N.Jell. Unlike a lot of main females in Korean dramas, Minyeo never once annoyed or irritated me! She is very cute and sincere in her actions. She plans to stay in A.N.Jell in the hopes of finding out who her birth mother is. However things get a bit complicated once she realizes her feelings for her band mates! Minyeo is played by Park Shin Hye who will be in Heartstrings with Yong Hwa!

I really recommend this drama, and you can watch it for free with English subtitles on hulu. I actually plan on buying this on DVD (when I have the money hehe) once I get back from my trip. As I said before it's really cute and it sucks you in almost immediately. I'm also super excited to see Yong Hwa and Shin Hye act together again soon! Let's anticipate Heartstrings together ^_^. I'll leave you with a video of a performance that A.N.Jell did at their mini-concert. Since they all actually had musical talent they could become a real band instead of just a fake one for the drama!

Daesung

In continuation of my Big Bang posts, here is my post about Daesung!

Daesung
Daesung was born in 1989 (same as me!) and is the second youngest member of Big Bang. He is known to always be smiling with a good sense of humor. In addition to singing with Big Bang, he had a fairly popular single in 2008, Look At Me Gwisoon (which was written by G-Dragon). Daesung also released a great solo track on the repackaged Big Bang mini album that came out a few months ago, Baby Don't Cry. Another fun fact, Daesung was in the Korean production of the musical Cats!

Dumb and Dumber Brothers

Daesung was also on the variety show Family Outing. While on the show he developed a close relationship with Yoo Jae Suk. The two earned the nickname of the "Dumb and Dumber Brothers" because when they were together they could never make up their minds about anything!

^_^

Recently Daesung has earned himself a "sexy image" in Big Bang. I think the above picture and the Tonight video show why!

Despite the recent accident that Daesung was in, he has received a lot of support from him fans (#wesupportdaesung was a trending topic on twitter). Hopefully everyone can continue to support him throughout these difficult times and Big Bang and Daesung can come back with great music again!
One last picture of Daesung to bid you farwell

Love Days!

At the beginning of the year I discovered how Koreans celebrate Valentines Day and White Day. Just a few days ago I learned that the 14th of every month is a "love holiday" in Korea! Let me share them with you!

January 14 - Diary Day

Couples exchange diaries or planners and in them they record all the important dates for their relationship like anniversaries and birthdays! Don't you think that this is a really smart idea? Now there is no excuse for forgetting anything important!

February 14 - Valentines Day

Do you think Lee Min Ho would accept chocolates from me?

On Valentines Day in Korea the girls will give chocolates to their crushes to express their feelings or to show their love. Only the girls give out chocolates on Valentines Day.
March 14 - White Day

White Day is Valentines Day reversed, only the guys give chocolates to the girls that they like. White Day and Valentines Day are different from American Valentines Day though, because just chocolate and candy are exchanged in Korea. Where we might give gifts in America, they do not in Korea.

April 14 - Black Day

Black Noodles

White Day is the day for singles to get together and celebrate being single! Single people will get together to cheer each other up and eat jjajangmyeon, or black noodles.

May 14 - Rose Day

Couples give each other Roses. Very classy!

June 14 - Kiss Day

A kiss from Kim Hyun Joong

From what I've read about Kiss Day, you "kiss everyone you meet"! It sounds like a lot of kisses!

July 14 - Silver Day

Couples give each other silver jewelry. Since I will be in Korea on this day do you think someone will give me some silver?

August 14 - Green Day

On this day couples enjoy nature together. Also on Green Day singles drink soju (Korean alcohol). Single or taken sounds like a fun day to me!

September 14 - Photo Day

Jo Kwon and Ga In love taking pictures together

On Photo Day couples get together to take a romantic picture and then place it somewhere that they can always look at it. So cute!

October 14 - Wine Day

Wine Day is for couples to drink wine!

November 14 - Movie Day

Couples go to the movies on this day.

December 14 - Hug Day

G Dragon provides you with a hug

Hug Day is for couples to hug each other to chase away the cold winter. A very good idea!

Overall I really love the idea of having a love related holiday every month. These days all sound really cute and you can create some good memories with your partner. Who else is all for bringing these holidays to America?!

CN Blue

While Big Bang is my favorite K-Pop group, the first group that I really got into when I first started listening to K-Pop was CN Blue.

CN Blue

CN Blue released their first Korean single in 2009, I'm A Loner. It was uber popular and just an overall awesome song! Their second single, Love Light also did very well.

 Go Gu Ma Couple

I really enjoy Love Light because of it's connection with We Got Married. When Yong Hwa was on the show with Seo Hyun, he admitted that he wrote the song with her in mind. So cute! Can they just become a real couple please?!

CN Blue released their first full length album a few months ago, First Step. The title track is Intuition. I was so excited when it came out! Now that I've introduced some of their songs to you, let me introduce the members to you...

Jong Hyun

Lee Jong Hyun plays the guitar as well as being one of the main vocalists. With Yong Hwa, he helps to compose the songs that CN Blue releases. He has also acted in a movie called Acoustic. I haven't seen the movie, but it sounds interesting!

Min Hyuk

Kang Min Hyuk is the drummer of CN Blue. He also acted in the movie, Acoustic. However, my favorite thing that Min Hyuk has done was his role in the drama It's Okay, Daddy's Daughter. It was out at the end of last year and it was amazing! It was just the right amount of scandalous drama and romance! I highly recommend it!

Jung Shin

Lee Jung Shin is the bassist for CN Blue. He is also the youngest member of the group, being only 19! He got the nickname of "The Nation's Friend" or "The National Chingoo" after having Seo Hyun refer to him as Jung Shin Chingoo on We Got Married.

  Yong Hwa

I think we all know who my favorite member is! Jung Yong Hwa is the leader of CN Blue. He plays the guitar for CN Blue as well as being the main vocalist and rapper. He also writes and composes most of their songs. So talented! In addition to showing us how he makes the perfect boyfriend on We Got Married (take Banmal Song for example, which he wrote for Seo Hyun), he also acts! Yong Hwa was in the drama You're Beautiful. I am currently watching it now. I have three episodes left and I am hooked! Yong Hwa is great in it, and the story is really addicting. I can't wait to see how it finishes. I will be sure to blog about it in the near future! Yong Hwa is also currently filming the drama Heartstrings that will start airing at the end of the month. Needless to say I can't wait to see it!

I'll leave you with my current favorite CN Blue song, Love Girl from First Step. Let me know what you think!
